Leisure competition violin 2023 in Kitzingen

On October 14, 2023 there will be another competition for violin in the leisure category. The focus is on enjoying and having fun playing the violin and not on a professional showdown!!! The competition is open to young violinists aged 5 to 14 and 15  and is held in one round. At least 2 (AG I) or 3 (AG II and AG III) works for violin must be performed. The performance pieces may not exceed a total of 10 minutes in age group I and 15 minutes in age groups II and III. The pieces should have a different character. The participation fee per competition is € 40.00.

Rating program:

The pieces can be performed solo or with accompaniment. You are welcome to bring your own accompanist. A piano accompanist is on site, but it is not possible to rehearse with him that day.


Age group I (5 - 9 years): Performance duration max. 10 min.

International Florian Meierott Competition

for violin with violin accompaniment on March 16 and March 17, 2024 in Kitzingen


COMPETITION TERMS:

The competition is open to young violinists between the ages of 9 and 20 and is held in one round.

At least 3 works for violin solo/with violin accompaniment must be performed.

The performance pieces may not exceed a total of 15 minutes in age group I and 20 minutes in age group II. The pieces should have a different character.

The participation fee is € 30.00. This amount is to be transferred with the registration to Florian Meierott IBAN DE88791900000000072893 BIC GENODEF1KT1. Please enter participant name and password "Violin Competition March 2024"!

Travel and accommodation expenses are to be borne by the participants themselves. The competitions are public. The jury's decision is final. The competition is excluding the jurisdiction of a court.

Photocopies of edited sheets are not permitted at the audition.

SCORING PROGRAM:

The pieces can be performed solo or with violin accompaniment. The participants have the choice to bring their own violin accompanist or to play with Florian Meierott in the audition. However, there is no right to a rehearsal with him on the day of the competition.

 

Age group I (9-14 years): Performance duration max. 15 min.

Compulsory piece: a movement from the violin concerto in G major (KV 216, cadenza Meierott) by W. A. ​​Mozart

 

Age group II (15-20 years): performance duration max. 20 min

 

min. 3 pieces from the "Gold Book" of Florian Meierott's violin method (publisher Florian Meierott, www.violinschulemeierott.de);

Compulsory piece: Beethoven Violin Concerto, 3rd movement op. 61 (Cadenza Meierott)

 

PRICES:

Every participant gets a certificate.

The prize money is broken down as follows:

In the event of a tie, the prize money can be shared.
