Advanced course of studies/soloist class at the IVA (2 years)
In the two-year soloist class, you will acquire the ability to perform nationwide as a soloist and to perform the most difficult pieces professionally and in public. Your repertoire includes the great violin concertos, virtuoso pieces, solo works by Bach, Paganini, Bartók etc.
The basis for the soloist class is either a completed basic course of studies at the IVA or a significant technical and musical level.

01 Application
If you have not completed the basic course of studies at the IVA, you apply with a video in which you briefly introduce yourself and talk about your career as a violinist so far and your professional goals.
Present 3 pieces from different eras with different characters
(length of the video 25 minutes max.)
02 Exams
An internal intermediate exam takes place halfway through the soloist class.
The official final exam consists of a video in which you perform a representative concert program of at least 3 eras, including a violin concerto (with piano accompaniment) and a virtuoso piece, which is then published online (YouTube etc.).
04 Certificate
After passing the final exam, you will receive a certificate with which you can successfully start your professional life.
03 Fees/Other
The fees for one year of studies are 2949 euros (payable in advance of the respective year at the latest four weeks before the start of the course / year of studies). It is possible to start a course at any time during the calendar year.
Each year of study consists of a total of 38 hours of individual lessons, which are usually spread over the entire year of study (38 weeks).
